A recent study published in the International Journal of Thermal Sciences by researchers from the University of Trieste and the University of Science and Technology of China investigates the fire performance of Building-Integrated Photovoltaic (BIPV) facades. The research focuses on the impact of tilt angles exceeding 30 degrees on the thermal behavior of these systems. Findings indicate that such configurations can significantly delay thermal failures, enhancing the safety and resilience of BIPV installations. This study provides valuable insights for the design and optimization of safer, more efficient BIPV facades in modern architecture.
